Fraser Nelson has held leadership positions in the government, foundation and nonprofit sectors.
Most recently, she served as Vice President of Business Innovation for The Salt Lake Tribune , where she successfully led the groundbreaking transition to a nonprofit organization.
She also facilitated social policy innovation projects throughout the U.S. for the Sorenson Impact Center and served as the first Director of Data and Innovation for the Salt Lake County Mayor.
Her nonprofit experience is extensive, including founding the Community Foundation of Utah and an AIDS service organization and serving as CEO of a civil rights law firm.
She holds a B.A. from Duke University and an M.A. from St. Mary’s University.
She holds degrees in Medieval History and Political Science from Duke University, a MA in Human Development from St. Mary’s University and was a Social Innovation Fellow at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
