objective
Celebrating Legacy with a Fresh Approach
As a storied and deeply committed family foundation in Utah, The George S. and Dolores Doré Eccles Foundation has a distinct identity and clear objectives for sharing their work with the community. Each year, they publish their annual report to celebrate a year of investment and partnership across Arts & Culture; Community; Education; Health & Wellness; and Preservation & Conservation. This year, they celebrated a major milestone: passing $1 Billion in total giving over the course of their work.
SOLUTION
Timeless and Editorial
We supported foundation leadership in the framing and execution of their 2025 report; leveraging data visualization and an editorial style layout to emphasize storytelling and elevate human-focused impacts. The report’s visual style also took its inspiration from the cover art, Black Rock in Salt Lake, painted by John Haffen in 1902. Impressionist style section dividers carried the thematic feeling through the report, and also emphasized the importance of the foundation’s investment in Great Salt Lake conservation.
